A game report puts the essentials of a game on one screen: accuracy for both sides, how many inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders there were, and the moves where the game turned. Stockfish 18 builds it for any game from Chess.com, Lichess or a PGN.
What’s in the report
- Accuracy for each side, with the Lichess formula.
- Counts by label: how many inaccuracies, mistakes, misses and blunders each side made.
- Turning points: the moves where the evaluation swung the most.
- The best move in every position, with the evaluation before and after.
- The evaluation graph for the whole game.
There are ten move labels: Brilliant, Great, Best, Excellent, Good, Book, Inaccuracy, Mistake, Miss and Blunder. It is the same set Chess.com’s Game Report uses. We tuned the boundaries between the labels against Chess.com’s, but on individual moves they can differ.
How to get the report
- Import the game: a Chess.com or Lichess username, a game link or a PGN.
- Open it. Once Stockfish has gone through the positions, the report appears on the game page.
- Start with accuracy and the mistake counts, then move on to the turning points.
Reports with no daily limit
A free Chess.com account gets one full Game Review a day. Here you can run as many reports as you like: the engine runs in your browser, and nothing caps the number of analyses. Lichess games are analyzed the same way as Chess.com games.
