How to analyze a Lichess game
- Enter your Lichess username. Your recent public games come in. You can also paste a link to one game or a PGN downloaded from Lichess.
- Open the game. Stockfish goes through every position and labels each move.
- Go through the mistakes. Each one shows the move the engine preferred and the evaluation before and after.
What the analysis shows
Accuracy uses the same formula as Lichess: the evaluation lost on each move becomes lost winning chances, averaged over the game. chess.rodeo evaluates the positions itself, so the percentage can differ from the one Lichess showed.
Every move gets one of ten labels, from Brilliant to Blunder. Sharp swings on the evaluation graph mark the moves that decided the game.
Lichess and Chess.com games in one place
A username is looked up on both Lichess and Chess.com, so games from the two sites end up in one list, with the same labels and one accuracy formula.
