A set of puzzles is fixed once and never changes. You solve the whole thing, then solve it again — aiming to finish in half the time. Usually seven cycles.
On the first cycle you calculate, by the seventh you recognize the position at a glance. In spaced repetition the intervals grow; here they shrink.
