How it works
- Import or open a game: a Chess.com or Lichess username, a PGN file, or a game you have already analyzed. If there is no analysis yet, it runs by itself.
- Click “Create Video” in the move-stats panel on the game page. The video editor opens.
- Sign in and confirm your email if you have not yet. The file cannot be downloaded without it.
- Pick a format: 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1 (listed below).
- Download the MP4. The video renders in the browser with the board animation, move labels, the evaluation bar and the final accuracy.

How much does it cost?
All three formats are free; you only need an account with a confirmed email. The frame carries a chess.rodeo watermark. Pro lets you hide it or upload your own, and adds a webcam overlay, special effects, a poster intro, custom endings and timeline modes.
Where do the games come from?
Any Chess.com or Lichess game you import by username or link, or any PGN file you upload.
Which engine is used?
Stockfish 18, the same analysis you see on the game page. If the game has not been analyzed yet, the analysis runs when you open it.
How do I share the video?
Download the MP4 and post it to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X/Twitter or any other social network.
Does the video have sound?
Yes: move, capture, check and checkmate sounds. You can mute them in the editor.
Does it work on mobile?
The editor works on mobile, but the final render runs in the browser, so a desktop is the better place to export.
